The colors were overwhelming,
As I walked through that beautiful garden.
Bushels of flowers gleaming,
As I peered over the horizon.
Tulips lined on either side,
As the seas of red merged the light.
The sun itself reflected in pride,
In a solitary daffodil alone yet bright.
In awe I walked closer,
Brushing past the tulip beauty.
Softly I heard the daffodil whisper,
“I am just like you, lovely.”
Footnoot:
The crowd tulips around are beautiful indeed. Be a daffodil amidst them!
